NS8000 protection information management and fault analysis system consists of two parts: the main station system and substation system. The former realizes the data concentration and system application functions, and the latter realizes the connection of secondary devices in the station and data transfer.

NS8000 main station system

The main station system is based on the NSPower power automation platform technology of our Company, with the full-graphic dynamic modeling ability of primary and secondary power systems. IEC61970 is referenced for the primary system model and IEC61850 referenced for the secondary system. The prevailing XML language is adopted for model description, and graphic description is in full line with the international standard for SVG vector graphs, to fully ensure the openness and advanced technology of the system. The system functions are realized according to the strategy of “implementing by steps and improving gradually”. At present stage, functions of equipment monitoring and management, set value management and verification and wave-recording data management and analysis have been realized, able to meet the application requirements of most users now, and these also lay a good foundation for the future application development by users.

NS8000 substation system

With the experience of implementing power automation systems for years and on the basis of the good cooperation relations with many manufacturers of secondary power equipment, we have worked conscientiously to develop the substation systems for connection with protection equipment and realizing data transfer functions with respect to the features of protection information management and fault analysis system.

The substation system has the features of powerful protocol access ability, overall access modes, independent design of software modules, powerful data transfer ability and flexible transfer modes. The substation system can realize access with over 150 protocols, and is provided with protection access modules in various modes, able to meet the access requirements for protection devices, fault wave recorder and safety automatic devices of main manufacturers both at home and abroad.
